1/25/12- Received USCIS I-797C

1/26/12- SOS authentication/Dossier to Chinese Consulate

2/7/12- DTC

2/16/12- LID

4/16/12- LOA

5/4/12- I-800 approval

5/15/12- NVC (national visa center)

6/1/12- Article 5

6/8- TA (travel approval)

7/17- CA (consulate appointment)

July- travel!

Ethiopia Adoption Timeline

7/8/08- Mailed application to first agency
7/17/08- Agency asked if we would consider adopting domestic baby due in 2 months!
9/2/08- First homestudy meeting
Sept-Oct- Searching for new agency
10/14/08- Chose Gladney Adoption Agency, submitted info sheet
11/06/09- Gladney orientation
11/29/09- Sent I-600A to USCIS
12/20/08- Second homestudy meeting
1/19/09- Homestudy submitted to Gladney for review
1/20/09- Finished parts 1,2,&3 of Gladney application
2/19/09- Homestudy Gladney approved
2/26/09- Homestudy finalized and sent to USCIS
3/2/09- Gladney approved
3/9/09- Homestudy resent to USCIS with correction
3/30/09- Fingerprint appointment for USCIS
5/05/09- Received I-171H from USCIS
5/06/09- Placed on wait list for a referral!
10/28/09- Decided to pursue a little girl with a special need
12/9/09- Notified that birth family decided to parent child
1/20/10- Informed of another little girl with a medical need
1/21/10- REFERRAL!!!!!
4/6/10- Received court date, April 29
4/29/10- We have a daughter!!!!!
5/22-6/2- Traveling
